Thanks, Giotto

Giotto provided us with the design for our "STARS/ ESTRELLAS" notebook - available in 9x14cm in the classic small notebook line and in 15x21cm in the ivory notebook line.

In fact, what we see in the photo is the ceiling of a church that our friend Giotto painted in Cappella degli Scrovegni in Padova/Italy. Painted in the year 1303.

Thanks dude!

Giotto di Bondone (or simply Giotto) (Colle di Vespignano, Republic of Florencec.1267-Florence, Republic of Florence, January 8, 1337)1 was a Florentine painter, muralist, sculptor and architect of the Late Middle Ages, an author of the Trecento considered one of the initiators of the Renaissance movement in Italy. His work had a determining influence on subsequent pictorial movements. Giotto's contemporary, the banker and chronicler Giovanni Villani, described him as "the most sovereign master painter of his time, who drew all his figures and their postures according to nature", and publicly acknowledged his talent and excellence.
